This faux stock stem is intended primarily for indoor decorative use and performs well in most climate-controlled home environments, including both dry and moderately humid regions.

To help preserve the rich burgundy coloring, soft flocked finish, and natural shape, avoid placing the stem in prolonged direct sunlight or close to strong heat sources such as fireplaces, radiators, heating vents, or windows that receive intense afternoon sun. Long-term exposure to heat and ultraviolet light may gradually affect the original coloration and surface finish.

The stem should also be kept away from direct moisture, damp storage areas, and extended outdoor humidity. Covered outdoor use may still expose the materials to condensation, temperature changes, and moisture in the air, so this stem is best kept indoors unless specifically styled outside for a short, protected occasion.

For routine care, remove dust with a soft, dry cloth or a gentle burst of cool air. Avoid wet cleaning products, soaking, or spraying the blooms and foliage directly. Real Touch stems
Soft, natural-feeling stems. Clean gently using dry methods or a lightly damp cloth for spot cleaning.

Standard faux stems (including filler)
More forgiving. Can be cleaned with a damp cloth or mild soap solution when needed.

When in doubt, less is more. Gentle care works for every tier.

Everyday Care: The Four Habits That Matter

1. Dust regularly
Dust dulls color and texture over time. A quick dust every 1–2 weeks keeps stems looking fresh.

2. Keep out of direct sunlight
Bright rooms are fine, but prolonged direct sun will fade colors over time, especially deeper tones.

3. Avoid heat and humidity
Keep stems away from fireplaces, radiators, kitchens, and bathrooms. Heat and moisture can damage materials.

4. Reshape as needed

Reflexing Your Stems

Reflexing is a professional floral technique that opens petals outward to create a fuller, more natural look.

Why reflex?

Stems are packed tightly for shipping. Reflexing opens them up, adds dimension, and transforms the overall look.

Best stems for reflexing:

• Roses
• Peonies
• Tulips
• Gladiolus

How to reflex:

• Work slowly with your fingertips
• Gently bend outer petals backward
• Warm petals slightly between your hands if needed
• Never force anything

A reflexed stem instantly looks more elevated and intentional.

Highly Pigmented Stems

Deep tones like reds, burgundies, and jewel shades may transfer color if pressed against light surfaces for extended periods.

This is normal for richly pigmented materials.

To prevent issues:

• Avoid prolonged contact with light fabrics or surfaces
• Wipe surfaces promptly if transfer occurs
• Give stems space when arranging

Storing Your Stems
